Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1991 is the fourth released in the highly acclaimed Bond House No. 1 Collection, under which Dr. Bill Lumsden has revealed some of his oldest and most precious creations. Grand Vintage 1991 is a tribute to the few who redoubled their quest for perfection during the early 1990s, when extra-maturation was in its infancy at the distillery. Inspired by this early experimentation, Dr. Bill Lumsden singled out three parcels of 1991 spirit to create Grand Vintage Malt 1991.

Finished in Oloroso Sherry Burgundy and new toasted oak casks, this whisky is fruit-forward on the nose with scents of apricots, plums, and baked apples. Then chocolate and the slightest hint of oak emerge, ending with suggestions of truffles and star anise. At first taste, the smokiness of pepper merges with ripe fruits, such as cherry, raspberry, plum, and stewed apples, ending with an abundance of milk chocolate. The finish ends with the spirit's signature citrus note alongside hints of fruit, sweet spices, and oak.
