These lovely glasses are perfect for both hot and cold liquids. The glass used (borosilicate) has a low co-efficient for thermal exchange which helps keep hot liquids hotter and cold liquids colder, for extended periods of time. The double walled design keeps the heat from your hand affecting the temperature of the liquid as well. You also never have to worry about condensation rings due to the double wall design.

About the Designer

Ward Long

Ward Long, the lead designer for GenusGlassware, traveled extensively throughout Europe developing his knowledge of glassmaking by visiting museums and studying the work of other influential designers. He was introduced to techniques such as enameling which he discovered in the Oriental collection at the Albert Museum in London. Long was fascinated by art, particularly cameo and the architectural works of Eugene Rousseau, Milo Baughman and Marcel Breuer.

He took those inspirations and channeled them into enduring pieces for Genus; his silhouettes have made GenusGlassware one of the pioneer glass designers of this age.
