This fantasy Dragon Kingdom Chess Set + Marble Board features noble dragons in various poses. The pieces sit on a theme-matching pedestals. Each Chess Piece is individually hand-painted in meticulous detail and crafted from polystone and matched with a Black and Marina marble chess board.

Polystone is a compound made up of polyurethane resin mixed with powdered stone, which gives the chess pieces added weight and a porcelain or "stone-like" feel that is more durable than crushed stone, an expensive alternative. Additionally, polystone is slow to wear, making it ideal for collectors and casual players alike.

This is a full set of 32 Chess Pieces complete with marble chess board. The hand-made marble chess boards are ideal for chess enthusiasts that want something unique for their smaller traditional staunton or theme chess pieces. The style is traditional with two marble colors, and each board is hand carved, so no two sets are ever exactly alike. There are a lot of variations in the stone and often have a weathered, rustic appearance. Because of the variation, these boards are not best for perfectionists. These marble sets should be left out on display when possible!

Marina is a truly unusual marble color, ranging from terracotta to a brownish orange. It often has strong character in the form of natural striation. Black Marble ranges from pure black to gray and often will have some variation in color.
