Gabe Weis

Self-taught artist Gabe Weis draws inspiration from cubism, collage, and urban art for his work. He grew up in Rio de Janeiro and traveled the world before settling in the Bay Area, where he bases his practice. A stream of consciousness approach imbues this collection of abstract prints with a deep understanding of inner emotions and the duplicity of reality at all times. Each work is simultaneously a self-portrait and an amorphous representation of the collective human experience.
