Alan Yeung

As a dad, modern design enthusiast and Instagram addict, Alan Yeung was searching for a

way to display and share the photo memories he had captured on his smartphone (mostly of his

kids) in a more lasting way, but couldn’t find a product that met his needs: a simple, easy to use

system that could change and grow over time. This design challenge became his passion and led

him to create Fotobit.

Using his experience in product development for the consumer electronics industry and

leveraging the award-winning team at CRISP^YHKG, Alan launched a Kickstarter campaign for

his homegrown passion project and was greeted by a community of supporters who had been

seeking out a solution like Fotobit. After being successfully funded through Kickstarter, Fotobit is

now making its retail debut. And the future is looking bright: Alan and the Fotobit team are busy

preparing for the Dwell on Design conference and developing new Fotobit product extensions all centered around helping people create living memory walls and share their images, bit by bit.
