The impedance level of headphones determines the amount of power it needs to deliver its maximum audio output. Headphones with weaker impedance are less powerful, and cannot be used with high-end equipment because they are easily overloaded. Headphones with higher impedance can be used with increasingly sophisticated equipment, and are the type preferred by industry professionals and musicians. The TR series offers all three of its headphones in an impedance of either 80 or 250ohms. For perspective; most professional DJ headphones top out at 70ohms, while standard earbuds or mass-market headphones are usually lower than 25ohms.
