Ice Age Wooly Rhino Skull
Product Description
This is an impressive skull form the extinct Woolly Rhinoceros. These gigantic beasts of the Ice Age roamed the frozen tundra beginning 36 million years ago, and died out around 100,000 years ago. Unlike modern Rhinos, they were covered with a thick layer of fur and wool, and had enormous horns.
This skull was found in permafrost in extraordinarily good condition. It has some restoration on the lower jaw, zygomatic arch, and nasal area. The horns are replicas, and are included to make this an incredible display piece. It comes with a custom stand ready to set up and display.
