Megalodon Shark Tooth + Pyrite Inlay
Product Description
This extraordinary fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) has been inlaid with sparkling pyrite and polished to perfection, for a piece unlike any other. Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans, and their bite marks have even been found in whale bones. From those samples, Scientists estimate that a Megalodon measured about 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. Which means this monster probably reached a maximum length of nearly 60 feet!
