Megalodon Shark Tooth
Product Description
This awesome Megalodon Shark Tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is from Beaufort County, South Carolina. It's an excellently preserved, complete tooth with serrations, pointed tip and killer shape overall! No restoration.
Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Scientists estimate that Megalodon measured approximately 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. Fully-grown individuals were absolute monsters, measuring up to 60 feet long! Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have even been found in whale bones.
