Fossilized Shark Tooth Pendant
Product Description
This genuine Fossilized Shark Tooth Pendant will be loved by both children and adults alike. The tooth belonged to a prehistoric mackerel shark called Otodus obliquus and it was collected in Morocco. It dates back an amazing 60 million years!
Scientists believe that Otodus was one of the top predators of its time, devouring everything from marine mammals to large bony fish. Incredibly, they reached upwards of 30 feet in total length. Evidence also suggest that Otodus may gave evolved into Carcharocles megalodon, the largest predatory fish that ever lived. A black rubber cord is included, connected with lobster clasps. The tooth can also be worn with a silver chain for a more elegant look.
