Polished Megalodon Tooth // 5.42"
Product Description
This awesome 5.42 inch fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is from Beaufort County, South Carolina. It's a striking tooth with great colors, brought out by beautiful polishing.
Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Scientists estimate that Megalodon measured approximately 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. Fully-grown megs were absolute monsters, measuring up to 60 feet long!
Astonishingly, Megalodon bite marks have been found in whale bones.
