Dazzling Megalodon Tooth With Pyrite // 5.75"
Product Description
This extraordinary fossil shark tooth (Carcharocles megalodon) is from South Carolina. This impressive tooth is perfect for someone looking conversation piece. The centre of this large tooth has been inlaid with pyrite and there is complete, natural enamel on the reverse side. Complete, knife-like serrations add to the appeal and collectability of this tooth.
Megalodon was the largest predatory fish to ever swim the oceans. Amazingly, bite marks have been found in whale bones. Scientists estimate that megalodon measured 10 feet for every inch of shark tooth length. This monster probably measured about 60 feet long!
