Boone Damascus Steel Skinner with Black Micarta Handle
Product Description
Daniel Boone lived larger than life and is frequently the archetypal Western hero of American folklore. Boone was famous for hunting and trapping, exploration and for being a militia officer, surveyor, and merchant. He even founded the village of Boonesborough, Kentucky.
Made of 1095 and 15n20 steels, the high carbon content of 1095 gives this knife an extremely sharp and durable edge and makes it the ideal choice for a skinning knife. The compact blade and large handle gives the user exceptional control. A forefinger groove and ground ridges along the spine gives the user plenty of leverage when using the knife. A lanyard hole finishes off this great knife and makes it easy to draw from the leather holster.
Each knife in this collection is individually handmade with the same dedication to detail, and with all-natural materials. This means that each knife will vary slightly in its exact color, shape, and pattern, so you can rest assured that absolutely no two knives - even of the same model - will ever look identical or mass-produced.
