Ernest Hemingway was a journalist, novelist, hunter, and sportsman. He traveled the world documenting humankind and telling his stories. Hemingway reported on the Spanish Civil War and World War II, and he even survived two plane crashes. The way we like to remember Hemingway is him sitting at his desk in Key Largo or Havana with a glass of bourbon and pen in his hand.

The Hemingway Damascus Steel Pocket Knife is inspired by the type he might have used to cut line on his fishing boat or a lime for a gin and tonic. A compact knife with a modest 3" blade, it is convenient to carry and use. The lockback locking system keeps the blade locked open when in use. Finishing off this beautiful knife is a handmade leather sheath with a belt loop.

Each knife in this collection is individually crafted by hand from all-natural materials. This means that each knife will vary slightly in its exact color, shape, and pattern. You can rest assured that absolutely no two knives—even of the same model— will ever look identical or mass-produced.

Please be aware Damascus steel products will arrive fully coated in a protective, non-toxic mineral oil, which can be easily washed off before use. Damascus steel should be regularly oiled with any household oil over the course of its life to prevent corrosion.
