The Immortals were an elite group of Persian infantrymen in the 500s BC, who earned their name from the custom that the unit always stayed at the strength of exactly 10,000 men. If one of the Immortals were killed or seriously wounded, he was immediately replaced, maintaining the constant strength.

The Immortals played many important roles in numerous battles. They were known for their exceptional fighting skills and the use of bow and arrow, spears, swords, and daggers. This Damascus steel drop point is the perfect close-quarters fighting knife with its upturned tip that's designed for a low, upwards thrust. It was designed with Persian styling in mind and features a white Micarta handle to match the white robes worn by the Immortals. Made of 1095 and 15n20 steels, the high carbon content of the blade gives this knife an extremely sharp and durable edge and makes it the ideal choice for hunting.

Each knife in this collection is individually handmade with the same dedication to detail, and with all-natural materials. This means that each knife will vary slightly in its exact color, shape, and pattern, so you can rest assured that absolutely no two knives - even of the same model - will ever look identical or mass-produced.
