It is considered one of the highest honors to serve as a Sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington. These Sentinels are hand selected volunteers from the oldest active duty regiment in the US Military.

The intricate symbolism and care given by these Sentinels is reflected in the handcrafted patterned Damascus steel and solid walnut handle.

Please also note that each knife is individually handmade from natural materials, meaning there will be some variation in color, Damascus pattern, and overall look between knives of the same type. The knife you receive will have the same attention to quality and detail as the one pictured, but may differ slightly in appearance. After every use, wash and dry the knife completely and add a little mineral, vegetable or olive oil to the knife to keep it from rusting while in storage.
