The 10" Gyuto Japanese Style Chef Knife is the new go-to for those who like power. This heftier and heartier 10" model is a true workhorse, ready to tackle large tasks and power through hours of prep.
The high-carbon stainless steel blade has been heat treated higher than the standard gyuto for more edge retention and strength. Fitted with a slightly larger handle, it's built wider and thicker for chefs with larger hands, or those who prefer more weight.
All Forge to Table knives are made with 5 layer VG10 Steel, which is more resilient than standard carbon steel, and sharpens with ease for a finer edge. The durability of VG10 steel also prevents dulling and rusting. The "kurouchi", or blacksmith finish, is the signature of their forge in Southeast China. It not only looks good, it adds even more protection against daily wear and tear to ensure you can rely on these knives for years to come.
