Forseti Steel
Carney Damscus Steel Warrior Tanto Knife
Product Description
Sergeant William Harvey Carney of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry was the first Black American to earn a Medal of Honor for heroism in battle—a feat he accomplished by defiantly charging his Regimental colors through a hail of enemy artillery and rifle fire. Carney rallied his army in a fierce assault against an impenetrable Confederate stronghold, not only surviving a half-a-dozen gunshot wounds to basically every part of his body, but enduring all that damage without once allowing his flag to touch the ground.

Please note: Each knife is handmade from natural materials and may vary slightly in color, Damascus pattern, and overall look. Damascus steel can rust if not cared for properly. Do not keep Damascus steel in a leather sheath for long periods of time, as the leather can cause the steel to rust. Please be aware Damascus steel products will arrive fully coated in a protective, non-toxic mineral oil, which can be easily washed off before use. Damascus steel should be regularly oiled with any household oil over the course of its life to prevent corrosion.
