Food Guard
Food Guard // Set of 5
Product Description
The Food Guard is a heatproof, stretchable, stackable, washable, reusable, environmentally-friendly, time-and-money-saving food lid that stretches and molds to any food storage container, plate, bowl, dish, or pan. It eliminates the need to replace lost lids, eliminates time wasted trying to locate the right lid for the right container, and ensure you'll never have to worry about finding a heat-safe lid when cooking.
Food Guard lids can stretch up to twice their original size over and over again without losing their shape, strength, or durability. Composed of a material similar to a common silicone baking tray, their grippy nature enables Food Guard to easily adhere to just about any surface or shape, and can even be used to create an airtight seal to keep food fresh and flavorful.

FAQ
Yes, as long as there is an airtight seal, it will be fine. However, we do recommend that you keep it upright to avoid any spills should they occur.
To create a solid airtight seal, do not overstretch. Only a lip of 1-inch maximum is needed to create a strong airtight seal.
Does the stickiness wear off?Properly washed and stored, the tackiness of the material should last for a few years.
Are they hard to stretch to fit all these odd sized dishes? Not at all, odd shapes are actually a little easier to cover as they have more corners and edges to tack to.
Will it stick to plastic Tupperware? In most cases, yes, but some cheaper plastic containers may have issues 'sticking' to Food Guard.
How is it fully recyclable? The Food Guard Lids can be dropped off at your local waste dump and placed in the silicone recycling bins they have there. These are common in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. As for the packaging, as it is made from cardboard and paper, it can be placed in a normal recycling bin or composted.
What is the minimum and maximum size bowl they will cover? We recommend that users do not stretch Food Guard over a bowl larger than 15-16 inches. While Food Guard can stretch out to over 22 Inches, issues can occur with sticking, etc depending on bowl size and shape. So we recommend no more than 15-16 inches. In terms of how small, Food Guard can be used on a container/bowl, etc as small as you want. As long as you make an airtight seal, it will work.
How do you clean them? You can put Food Guard Lids in the Dishwasher, or you can wash them in your sink with hot water and soap. You can treat them the same as you wash a plate etc.
