Product Description

The "Iwo Jima" is named to commemorate the 5 week relentless battle in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. From 19 February to 26 March 1945, over 110,000 Marines, Navy Corpsmen, and Army Airmen participated in the unceasing action to take the strategic island. It's significance is often seen in the iconic photograph and monument of US Marines raising the flag atop Mount Suribachi. On Eastern white pine wood, it's an unusual print material that's utterly unique and totally masculine.
