The versatile Trailblazer is designed to function as a camp stove, campfire, and grill all in one compact package. True to its name, the Trailblazer pushes the limits of material engineering with a simple yet rugged design. It weighs just 3.2 lb, and when packed, is no larger than a standard thermos. The intuitive design opens up much like a camp chair to host a 12" x 12" burn area perfect for 1-4 people. Using patented Fire Mesh Technology for optimized airflow, your fire and fuel will burn hotter and more efficiently than traditional pits. The patented cross-braced design gives it a low center of gravity for stability on windy nights or elevated surfaces.

Does this come with grill grates?

The Trailblazer does include the grill!

Can you put this on a deck that is about 400 sq feet?

The Trailblazer does come with the heat shield that will prevent heat from transferring to the ground. However, there is always a factor of danger when dealing with a fire. I would recommend using the Trailblazer in tandem with the Ember Mat if you plan on using it on a deck!

What’s the difference between the pop-up and the trailblazer?

The differences are two fold:

First off is the size: The Trailblazer measures 12"x12"x11" and weights 3.2lbs while the Pop-Up Pit measures 24"x24"x15" and weighs 7.8lbs.

The Trailblazer kit also includes the pit itself, grill grates, and the heat shield. Whereas with the Pop-Up Pit the grill grates are sold separately.

Does this have an on/off switch?

No, the Trailblazer does not have an on/off switch. While it does meet all Federal regulations for leave no trace fires it does not supersede a fire ban when only propane is allowed.

Does the trail blazer come with a carry bag?

The Trailblazer comes with its own ballistic nylon carrying case and features an adjustable shoulder strap.
