The Firefly Laser Lamp is your new personal, portable laser lamp. Unlike everyday incandescent light, which pools around the bulb and weakens across space, laser light can beam a hundred feet. Each little Firefly dot is its own source of light. When compared to a common 4 watt LED nightlight, the Firefly produces better light, better coverage at less than half the power usage.

No, it does not have different color options.

Will 1 unit light up an entire room? Or do you need more than 1 set at different location to light up a room?

Yes, one unit lights a room. You have to put it at a good right angle which is easy since it has hex sides, obviously from a corner. Look in the photo the Firefly is in the center of the room pointing up.
