The 2011 Ferguson Crest Fergalicious marks Ferguson Crest's first release of a Syrah, Merlot, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon red blend. Fergalicious has woody, cigar box aromas, notes of camphor, flashes of red fruit, and flavors of blueberry, black cherry, and milk chocolate with a hint of cedar, wrapped in a velvety texture with a round and rich finish. This wine is worth sitting on until at least 2019. Pairs nicely with cumin-crusted, slow-roasted barbecue pork and roasted vegetables.

The 2012 Ferguson Crest Fergalicious marks the winery’s second release of a Syrah, Merlot, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon blend. These grapes all come together to produce a very complex wine with a traditional Cabernet Sauvignon texture. Syrah grapes contribute notes of spice and pepper. Grenache fruit adds body and the Merlot enriches the wine with color and roundness. A rich, finesse-styled red blend with layers of blackberry, bright red fruits, violets, cassis, and baker’s chocolate. With beautifully integrated tannins and a lush mouth-feel, this incredibly concentrated, yet balanced wine, will age gracefully for the next 5 to 10 years.
