Faraday Bikes is on a two-wheeled mission to change how people get around. They design lightweight, stylish, and ridiculously fun electric bikes that you'll want to ride everywhere. The Porteur S model combines the efficiency of a chain drive with a 5-speed, internal hub and a cleverly integrated battery and front hub motor, while the 240W battery provides up to a 20-mile range on a single charge. Weighing in under 40lbs and sitting on 1.5" high volume tires, you're guaranteed to have a smooth, stable ride. The end result is a lightweight and balanced commute machine that doubles as your new favorite errand runner.
To make the process of getting your bike to you as safe and convenient as possible, especially due to its oversize nature and multiple electric parts, your bike will be shipped to a local bike shop near your home where the bike will be fully assembled for you to pick up - no complicated assembly or waiting around to sign for deliveries required.
Within 5 days of your purchase, someone from Faraday and/or Touch of Modern will reach out with a bike shop that has agreed to build the bike and be your point of contact for pickup. The shop will then notify you personally when your new electric bike is ready to pick up and ride. If you have a recommendation for a local bike you'd like to use once you have ordered, please contact Touch of Modern Support directly.
Should you choose to have the bike shipped directly to you to be assembled outside of a designated bike shop, you can be reimbursed for a portion of your cost, but the item will no longer be covered under the warranty.
