With its reserved and subtle stylings one could almost say the 1945 Triple Calendar by Girard-Perregaux is reminiscent of the sophisticated cool of Art Deco. This fantastic timepiece features automatic winding and is driven by the GP caliber 033MO with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a 46-hour power reserve.
The polished stainless steel case measures 47 x 34.5 mm (including lugs and excluding winding crown), is 12 mm in height, and rests upon a brown leather strap with a deployant buckle. This sleek watch possesses an antireflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a water resistance to 30 m / 3 atm, and a screw-down case back with a sapphire crystal that allows one to check out the intricate workings of the movement. The silver-colored dial showcases a triple calendar function that displays the day of the week and month in red, respectively, in windows beneath the 12 o’clock position as well as the date in a ring function that features a red-tipped hand. The dynamic dial also has a sweep seconds hand, a printed minute track, and bold Arabic hours and markers.
