Pulsefire® LRT // Long-Range
Product Description
Why the Pulsefire® LRT? Because if you're a firefighter, farmer, or controlled burn prescriber you sometimes need to instantly generate a 25-foot stream of fire with the press of a button. Otherwise, you probably shouldn't buy this. Really.
Lightweight, compact, and handheld, the Pulsefire LRT (long range torch) is the safest and most effective way to apply fire at a distance. Whether you’re a professional involved in controlled burns or agriculture, and want to start the bonfire, eliminate weeds, or melt snow, the LRT is the most impressive tool for the job.
There’s no pressurized fuel canisters or pilot torches to worry about – when you press the trigger, the fuel pump draws gasoline from the reservoir and sends it through the nozzle, where it passes through an arc of plasma, kickstarting the flames.

FAQ
The product emits a stream of fuel (gasoline) which is ignited on the way out of the nozzle, and the standard reservoir holds enough fuel to support about 27 seconds before it runs empty. You can hold the button down or you can fire in bursts. The stream reaches about 25 feet, which is limited by the pressure/flow generated as well as the fact that the fuel is burning up during its travel. The flaming fuel stream will stay lit as long as you continue to hold the button down. The duration your target object (brush, weeds, etc.) will stay aflame depends on numerous unknown variables.
Can you turn down the distance on the long range version? No, but if you only press the button briefly, you may be able to send a short fireball that will burn up before it reaches a long way away. It takes a consistent stream to support the full-length reach.
