Serve the bottles with the people you love, and enjoy this exquisite 2013 vintage with a meal or on its own. Château Croix de Labrie is located in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru in Bordeaux. The St. Sulpice compound contains a clay-heavy soil that conveys a special depth and density to the grapes grown there. The vines are more than 98% merlot, with a few rows of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in St Sulpice. Because they're particular about harvesting only matured grapes, the vineyard typically produces extremely low yields: 25hl/ha. Château Croix matures its grapes in new barrels of French oak for at least 18 months after the vintage.
