Exceptionally Rare French Wine
A Sommelier's Dream
The wines of Chateau Pétrus are produced in the famous Bordeaux region of France. The storied Pomerol appellation traces its history back to the Arnaud family, who ran the vineyard in the 18th century. Still a small estate of just 11.4 hectares, Pétrus produces some of the most expensive and celebrated wines in the world. While most of their earlier vintages are Merlot-heavy red blends, since 2010, the company has been producing 100% Merlot bottles with no second wine. The average age of the vines is over 40 years old.
