Using careful barrel selection, small-batch blending, and bottling at the perfect proof to enhance its distinct qualities, they relentlessly pursue the complexity and balance that make each new vintage as intriguing as the promising young thoroughbred on its label.

American whiskey is traditionally blended to replicate an established flavor profile, then bottled at a fixed proof, year in and year out. Breaking with this standard, Pinhook releases its whiskeys in vintages that take their cues from that year’s mature barrels, which have been shaped by natural variations in the ingredients, the oak of the barrels themselves, and the conditions in which they’re stored.

Showcasing exceptional balance at 122 proof, Pinhook 2021 High Proof Rye brims with warm and nutty notes of chocolate, black pepper and cedar wood. Black cherry and sorghum notes permeate the palate, finishing with spiced notes of cinnamon and black licorice.
