Product Description

This high concept lamp is based on Furoshiki—the Japanese art of folding cloth. This unique Japanese tradition promotes caring for the environment and reducing waste as the cloth itself is eco-friendly. With a technique that's similar to origami, Furoshiki is often used as gift wrap or for ornamental decor. This lamp is semi-sheer and striking for a lighting concept that's both functional and aesthetic.

French design house Entreautre is resolutely contemporary with an emphasis on transparency, clean design, and utilitarian materials that function on a few wavelengths. Entreautre was founded by 4 friends who met at the University of Technology Compiegne (UTC)—Christophe Tincelin, Bertrand Vignau-Lous, Julien Melique, and Adrien Chiodo. Together these designers focus on creating smart, economical products that use materials to the best of their functions. In the future, the Entreautre designers hope to create more objects with clear purpose and relevance.
