The cash holdings are limited to the cash-strap, which means it can hold around 5-6 bills.

Is this a 1 or 2.0 version and does the tracking chip come with the wallet?

This is the 2.0 version without the tracker.

Can you please explain with the scanner is used for?

The wallets contain a "scanner card pocket" which is essentially a pocket at the back of the wallet for all scannable cards. Any card you need to scan regularly (e.g. office access card, transport card etc.) can be placed here.
