The 3rd Gen Outdoor Smart Padlock is a rugged, weatherproof padlock that makes protecting your valuables fast, easy, and secure. It is embedded with dual intelligent proximity and historical access tracing technologies to deliver an unprecedented level of security, traceability, and functionality that's simply unmatched by any regular keyed or combination padlocks.

With eGeeTouch's patented multi-access options, there are no keys to keep track of, no combination codes to remember, and no tiny 3-digit-wheels to dial. Simply press the shackle and tap on the eGeeTouch® padlock with an eGeeTouch® NFC tag or use your Bluetooth paired smart device to instantly unlock. This secure unlocking method also means you won't have to worry about lock-picking or bumping like you would with a regular lock.

Within the dedicated eGeeTouch Manager App, you can grant permanent or timed access to multiple users, and keep track of a historical unlocking records so you know exactly who accessed the lock and when. The commercial version of the app also includes web-based access management software for administrators to manage large numbers of users and assign, revoke, and track access from a remote location.

What comes with the lock?

The package comes with 1 padlock itself and 1 pre-programmed NFC smart fobs which you can use straight away. You may also download the free version of the eGeeTouch Manager app (blue colour app, NOT the orange commercial app) for personal use.

What is the primary difference between this lock, the generation 3 model and the former lock, the generation 2 model?

The key differences are
1. The 3rd Gen has improved waterproofing to allow usage outdoor. If your usage requires extensive usage outdoor and likely exposure to prolonged rain, we recommend purchasing the 4th Gen.
2. 3rd Gen uses rechargeable batteries for added convenience.
3. 3rd Gen support our eGeeTouch Intelligent Access Management System (commercial grade web-based system and mobile app) for professional/commercial users.
4. Obviously, the design is improved as well, among others.
