FAQ
What happens if the batteries die, since no recharge?

When the battery is low, you'll get notifications on the app (you can also see the status of the battery power from the app) and the LED light on the padlock will flash in orange.

In the rare instance when the battery totally depleted and you forgot to change despite the notifications, you may still use any power bank connected via micro USB cable to the padlock to provide temporary power supply as a backup method to unlock and gain access.

You'll need to change the battery to use the padlock as per normal.

Will this lock be able to be used at the gym on the standard locker hasp size?

The shackle diameter/width for this model is the standard 0.34 inch (8.6mm).

You may use this padlock if your locker hasp diameter is equal or bigger than the diameter/width of shackle.

What is the average life of the battery?

The average battery life is about 2000-3000 cycles.

Can this one be used outdoors?

This model is NOT recommended for outdoor usage.

How does it send you notifications without WiFi connection or Bluetooth being out of range?

The padlock itself does not send out any notifications or connect to Wi-Fi. Access sharing is sent out via the mobile app.
