Why is the origin of this piece China? The artist’s studio is in England.

Original designs and master carving is done in Matts U.K. Studio. Once finished, the original master carving is sent to China to be perfectly replicated and produced. The only piece that is actually produced in England is the original master carving.

What does the owl figurine look like from the back?

It is very much like the front. It is fully carved and figural. The wingtips are laid back over the tail.

Can I get this with eyes, like the other sculptures have?

The eyes on each piece come only 1 way. Most of them are hollow like the owl.
