It only shows in the light bulb.

Yes, the bulb will work with any standard lamp.

How much light does it give off?

The lamp does not produce much light, however, it's good to use as an ambient light.

Does the base have a battery or cord?

The base is equipped with a power cord.

The base can be purchased directly on the vendor's website, E.P. Design Lab.

Can these bulbs work with dimmers?

They are LED light so it might not work with a dimmer. However, we have designed a LED base. Please head over to the links below for more information.

Approximately what year were the vintage outlets made, or are they vintage inspired new ones?

The light base is brand new with antique looks.

Is this a corded unit or is it like the the other ones that have a chargeable battery?

This is not chargeable and there is no battery inside. It is powered by a wall plug only.

Is there movement in the bulb to change the light?

The light will not change, the painting is solid.
