Hand-forged from a mixture of 1095, 1085, and 1060 carbon steels, the forge folded and clay-tempered Bushi O-Katana exhibits a beautiful Hamon and Hada— the aesthetic hallmarks of a Japanese sword. The Bushi line is hybrid polished— with base polishing done by machine and final polish done by hand— making it both a beautiful display piece and battle-ready blade. At 31.5" from Mune-Machi to Kissaki, the O-Katana is longer than the typical Katana, making it an imposing sword and a fitting centerpiece for any collection.

FAQ
This has a traditional full tang that runs about 3/4 of the handle with a wood core wrapped around it. Sometimes people refer to a "full tang", especially with reference to kitchen knives, when the handle slabs are screwed into the sides with the actual metal tang exposed. This is not made in that fashion as it is non-traditional.
