This Barlovento Sotavento Aluminum chair is comprised of a circular section structure made of aluminum and recycled sail fabric that is wrapped around the structure. Its design, with its simple undulating lines, permits its dual use as a lounger or as an easy chair, simply depending on how it is placed on the floor. The title translates to Windward and Leeward, the two opposing directions that wind can blow your sails.

About the Designer
The Dvelas design team is a collaboration between architects, designers, and a sail manufacturer. Their passion for sailing, design and beauty meets in the way that they create rustic, functional furniture from recycled materials. Spanish architects Esperanza and Enrique Kahle, designer Arraitz Koch and sail manufacturer Borja Fuentes are at the heart of what makes Dvelas.
