FATHOM Art
Cause For Alarm // Drew Carloan // 1983
Product Description
Born and raised in New York City, Drew Carolan started photographing his surroundings in the 1970s. His love for music attracted him to clubs in the neighborhood where he photographed jazz, blues, and the growing underground music scene. This collection of photography prints showcases the beauty, vulnerability, and energy of those attending shows at CBGB in the early 1980s.
A moment of solitude in an uncertain world for many, especially for teenagers. The shirt represents a popular hardcore punk band at the time but it takes on deeper meaning still to this day.
