The Nymph Earrings are inspired by the nymphs: a minor female nature deity typically associated with a particular location or land form. Different from goddesses, nymphs are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are usually depicted as beautiful, young maidens who love to dance and sing. They are believed to dwell in mountains and groves, by springs and rivers, in trees and in valleys and cool grottoes. With such a close connection to nature and a sexual freedom, they portray female strength and independence. This pair of earrings reflects the nymph's natural style, with a pointed construction that can be worn any way you want.

Iselin Strømsvåg & Nina Einarsen

Dreams of Norway consists of designer duo Nina Einarsen and Iselin Strømsvåg. Together they create unique jewelry in materials such as silver, steel, copper and rough stones such as pyrite and quartz crystals.

Iselin was born in Kristiansand, Norway in 1981. She studied social anthropology in Throndheim, where she and Nina met, and later moved to Oslo to study clothing design at ESMOD. Nina was born in Melhus, Norway in 1968. She's studied interior design, and has been working within product design, and visual arts, among other things Nina is a trained art therapist.
