Please Note: Never hold the ignition with a continuous flame for more than 10 seconds. Do not touch the lighter flame port after ignition. Always start with the flame adjustment wheel set as far towards the lowest (-) setting as possible. Always be sure the flame is out after each use.

Does this use regular butane from a refillable can?

Yes, it does use regular butane. We recommend using Xikar High-performance butane as sold on the Dissim website.

What type of fluid?

The Lighter uses standard butane.

Does it need a flint or is the ignition electronic? Is the flint / battery replaceable?

It is a standard spark (non flint) ignition. The mechanism is meant to last the lifetime of the lighter.

How much does it weigh? How weatherproof is it?

It weighs about 3 Oz.
The item is a soft flame so I would not say it is as waterproof as a torch.
