The classically beautiful Art Deco 5-Light Slip Shade Chandelier is a stunning, original Art Deco chandelier from the 1930's. Created by Markel, it features 5 very thick glass slip shades set atop a cast iron base. The 3-way switch is activated by the brass finial attached to the bottom. Turn it once for 2 lights on, another for 3 lights, and a 3rd time for all lights on.
This remarkable chandelier has been completely taken apart and rewired in any areas that were damaged. The sockets and 3 way switch are original, in excellent condition, and work with no issues. One shade does have a chip on the top, another has a crack. The crack cannot be felt on either side, so it is not through the glass and is not fragile. Neither imperfection takes away from the look of this gorgeous piece of Art Deco history.
