Product Description
The Release One is a trail bike we’ve only been able to dream about, until now. Built around the new Level Link suspension system, every part of this bike works to improve your performance. The patent-pending short link four bar system isolates chain forces from trail inputs, resulting in the best-pedaling mountain bike ever. And with the rest of the bike designed to get the most out of the suspension, the Release One rides like it has much more travel than upon first look.
Diamondback used hydroformed aluminum for the frame: predictable, durable, and light. With a long top tube and short rear end, this bike’s modern geometry allows it to be very stable at speed yet still stay balanced while dealing with technical sections. Long and low without being sluggish, it’s a bike for all-day excursions and quick rides alike. A 150mm Fox Yari fork, 2x10 SRAM drivetrain, 148mm thru-axle rear end, and SRAM DB1 hydraulic brakes round out the parts build.
