After 30 years of travelling around the world representing Mexico with his Pop Rock band, MANÁ, Alex Gonzalez "El Animal" decided to pursue one of his other big dreams: to produce a tequila that would showcase the culture of Jalisco—the land that had given him so much. Tequila is a drink he have enjoyed all his life, and it is the true essence of Mexico. After searching for the best tequila fields, working with jimadores and master tequila makers, Mala Vida was born. This beverage reflects the passion and heart with which he has always played his drums and music. Committed to protecting and respecting the environment, Mala Vida is made with the highest standards and quality certifications.

The intense flavors, balanced aroma and medium body give Mala Vida Blanco the perfect balance. Reminiscent of the old-fashioned way of making tequila, it offers intense aromas and flavors with highlights of cooked agave, hints of citrus like grapefruit, and fruity notes like apple and cantaloupe. Spicy notes include clove and anise. Blanco is ideal for drinking by itself, as an aperitif or digestif. It is recommended paired with light foods like fish, seafood, or chicken, although its intensity also mixes well with complex flavors.

With all the intensity of oak, Mala Vida Reposado stands out for its balance and hints of cooked agave and fruit. Notes of vanilla and caramel bring out the intensity of the oak for tequila with a lingering taste, intense aroma, and a well-rounded and full body. Reposado is ideal for drinking by itself, as an aperitif or digestif. It is recommended paired with dishes with complex, intense flavors. It also mixes well with juices, sparkling water, and soft drinks so that its intense characteristics stand out. It can also pair well with coffee lungo or espresso.
