Product Description

Mezcal Pluma Negra is made in the town of San Juan del Rio, which is in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. It is made with wild agaves rich in the flavors of their 100% organic land, and is produced by the hands of a Maestro Mezcalero who uses the process learned by his ancestors. Their goal is "to be a worthy ambassador of Mezcal, for those who deserve to feel the culture of Oaxaca in all its splendor."

Tobalá is made with wild maguey Tobalá that are harvested in the semi-tropical mountain climate of San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca. The agave are cooked in an underground oven, milled by a horse-drawn tahona, fermented in open-air pine vats using naturally occurring yeasts, and double distilled in a copper pot still. This mezcal has delicate aromas of chocolate, plums, and a slight touch of tobacco. It tastes of sweet pineapple, mango, and a light tone of peppermint and cinnamon.

Tobalá is a wild maguey that grows in shaded areas at high altitudes of around 5000 feet. Delicate notes of chocolate and plum with hints of nutmeg and floral aromas. Light and long-lasting, subtle tropical flavors come through first on the palate, with low herbal and cinnamon flavors.

Tepeztate is made with wild agave Tepeztate that takes 25-35 years to reach maturity. The agave Tepeztate in this mezcal is harvested from roughly 1600 meters above sea level. This mezcal has aromatic tones of fresh herbs, newly cut grass, and a slight touch of eucalyptus. Its tastes of fresh herbs and slight minerality.

Tepeztate (or Tepextate) is a wild maguey that grows in rocky, limestone-rich soil around 5000 ft. This mezcal features notes of fresh herbs and newly cut grass with a hint of eucalyptus. It's warm and soft on the palate, with bright herbal notes. The long and distinctive finish increases in complexity over time.
