The Carpathians, a fictional race of people, were said to be the ancestors of Vampires, who survived by drinking the blood of humans.  All vampires were once Carpathians. Carpathians became Vampires after killing a human while feeding, or after losing his “life mate." Individually hand forged with 5160 high carbon steel and dual tempered, the Carpathian Medieval Sword is a must for collectors of fantasy weaponry. The Germanic leaf-shaped blade geometry, mirrored by the Vampire fang-like guard and mushroom pommel are complimented by a crisp deep fuller, making this sword a truly menacing piece in any collection.
