"Like an echo from the caves of Coccamaura, I came forth whilst Deirdre wept cool tears." Inspired by this Celtic fairy tale, D.L. & Co set out with a vision to create a sculpture that wept tears of wax and created this surreal and beautiful neo-classical sculpture. The functionality of the piece is quite remarkable as the back of the sculpture is carved on an angle allowing for the melting wax to flow through the opening of the eyes.
