This Rolex has been carefully inspected, restored, and protected with a black PVD coating. The process involves completely disassembling the watch and placing it in a vacuum chamber to be blasted with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating.

The Submariner in black PVD coated steel is one of Rolex's most popular models with its iconic profile that has defined the dive watch to this day.
