Product Description
This Rolex has been carefully inspected, restored, and protected with a black PVD coating. The process involves completely disassembling the watch and placing it in a vacuum chamber to be blasted with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating.
The Rolex Deepsea is water resistant to a depth of 3,900 metres (12,800 feet) and built to meet the exacting demands of professional divers. The Rolex Deepsea owes its name to the Deep Sea Special, the experimental Rolex watch that in 1960 successfully travelled to the deepest point in the oceans, a depth of 10,916 meters.
