The Carranca is part of the Brazilian folklore with it’s history dating from the first ships that navigated São Francisco River, in the 18th century. Usually trusted to send away the bad spirits, nowadays can be seen at the doors of the houses on the shore of the same river. The uglier it is, the better to scare those spirits. This small version is intended to bring some fun and protection with style.

About the Designer
Olavo Machado Neto is the creator and designer of the Cucampre line. He has always been interested in creating beautiful things ever since he can remember.
Having a successful international career, Olavo has exhibited in America and Europe for many years and currently has his products available at design stores all over the world.
Olavo is currently working on a line of furniture for kids with a major European brand and has scheduled exhibitions for 2013 in the US, Europe, Japan and Brazil.
