FAQ
They will emit light for approximately 10-12 hrs.
Do they “recharge” during the day? Or only glow for 10-12 hours and then die, and they’re done?Any exposure to light will excite the Core Glow compound, giving it a small charge, causing it to glow. The trick is to 'saturate' the Core Glow with as much light as it can take to ensure the long afterglow. This takes half an hour to an hour (to ensure a full charge). UV lights work great for a quick burst of super charged glow but this will not result in a full charge. Low light and shaded areas with ambient light will not result in a bright immediate glow but will charge the stones enough for a long afterglow.
Can you use it in a fish tank and not hurt the fish? No. Do NOT use in a fish tank. The marble will off-gas for a few days and has the potential to contaminate the water in the tank.
Could this be used in a countertop?Yes, our marble can be used in a countertop or with concrete applications.
Can it be used in Asphalt?Yes, it can be used in Asphalt.
Can the stones be scattered loosely onto a gravel pathway?Yes, it can be scattered loosely on pathways/driveways.
Can you put them in submerged water?Yes, you can, however, they do need to have a light source charge them so 4 ft of clear water max.
Will sunlight recharge it?Absolutely! Sunlight (broad spectrum) and UV lights work best, incandescent bulbs second, and LED, fluorescent, etc. third.
